We spent the week at Stockton lake. We drove into town several times just to go here. The food was excellent and the ice cream reminded me of slow churn homemade ice cream. Friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. The prices were reasonable. I highly recommend you make this a part of your trip to Stockton.

I came from Joplin to do business in town. One of my work peers said I had to eat at Sundaes if I was going to Stockton, so I did. I was not disappointed. It is a nice hometown cafe with hand dipped ice cream. I asked the owner what she recommended and followed her ad ice. The Rueben sandwich with fries was one of the best I've ever had. The fries were fresh and hot. The sandwich was packed with meat. They also had gluten-free bread as an alternative. She said she had been the owner for 24 years. The restaurant is a landmark, and for good reason. The friendly ser ice and great food are hard to beat. They also give a 3% discount for cash payment.
